As I continue to seek funds for my Geospatial Technology Competition, I am utilizing various areas to make some extra money.  Selling things on eBay has been a very dependable source for extra money.  I put up a digital camera on eBay hoping to cash in on a few bucks.  Someone did bid on the item and I have been looking for payment for over ten days now.  Well I found out this weekend that the “buyer” is bailing on me.  At first he said the international shipping quote I gave him was too high and now he is saying he did not like the item.  I am wondering why he even bid on it to begin with?  Anyway, I filed a complaint/issue with eBay so that I can get the charged fees back.  In Twitter terms: #fail !

As for the competition itself, I am anxiously waiting to receive my project packet.  I found out last week that the deadline for registration was extended to this past Friday.  I assume that this would push back when I should get my packet.  I really cannot wait to get started.  I have been doing some GIS review and utilizing an ESRI Virtual Campus course to review 3D techniques.

Goals for this week include:

  • Confirming Registration Price
  • Finalizing Travel Dates
  • Booking Flight
