I have made it to Kansas City with no problems.  I did not have any problems other than trying to check in at the Charlotte airport.  I was glad we got there a little early.  The flight into Detroit was a bit choppy as there was a heavy cloud cover.  I found Detroit Airport to be very big.  The tram was pretty cool running above us in terminal A.  As we walked toward terminal B, we ran across a really cool water fountain.  The tunnel that ran under the tarmac to connect the two terminals was really awesome.  Here is a video of it (not mine, just found it through youtube).  The flight from Detroit to Kansas City was very smooth.  Got into Kansas City with no issues and my brother was waiting once we arrived.

As for the competition, I go today to turn in my project and check-in for the conference.  I got it all put together in packets last night.  No stress here as I was able to have it completed this past Thursday. Not much left to do, but review of my presentation and review over the basics of GIS for my exam.  Really looking forward to meeting everyone who is apart of this event.
